Say hello to’s newest featured driver – Hector Zavala! We’re proud to introduce Hector as one of our featured drivers because of commitment to and passion for DIY aftermarket upgrade projects for show and track. Being a full-time student doesn’t slow him down one bit from attending local shows and races like Revlocity, Drips and Whips, CIM Sacramento Drags and Racewarz as well as other bay-area events.

As for his current project, Hector is hard at work on his 1996 Honda CX/EK. He’s already upgraded to SIR bumpers, a Seibon carbon-fiber hood, CF trunk hatch, FAL pluxy glass, CF Duckbill, Rep Spoon Sports Cluster, GSR leather seats, Skunk2 shift knob, C Pillar Bar, lowered BLOX LCAs with coilovers, Rota slip wheels, Dunlop tires. Currently, Hector’s focus is on his B18C1 engine which he is adding a Supertech valvetrain, seals, new valves, BLOX adjustable CAM gears, and ARP head studs. Once this upgrade is complete, he’s going to add a super or turbocharger, upgrade the fuel cell, cambers, suspension, fuel pump, and more, and more. Hector’s clear dedication to building the best car for show and track he can no matter what else is going on in his life is inspirational. You makes us want to redouble our own efforts to get out there and finish our own DIY upgrade projects, Hector! Which is why we’re proud to have Hector Zavala as our newest featured driver here at!
